About Us

The Deep End Cafe & Gallery is a creative, community-rooted space that fuses art, coffee, and culture to empower underrepresented voices and foster meaningful connection. We specialize in curating experiences that are immersive, inclusive, and unforgettable—whether that means hosting a community events, designing impactful programming, coordinating a new visual art exhibition, curating a memorable experience for corporate and company affairs, or producing a one-of-a-kind pop-up experience.

Since opening our first location in 2023, we've curated over 30 art exhibitions, facilitated 200+ community events, and created paid opportunities for more than 100 local artists, musicians, speakers, and makers. We have worked with over 20 corporations providing consultation and coordination services for events and programming designed to impact stakeholders.

Expertise

The Founder and Director of TDE, Candace Oceania Cavazos, has a Masters Degree in Innovative Leadership and Program Improvement with 10+ years of experience designing programs and events across educational, nonprofit, and creative sectors—including the University of Michigan, roundHere, DTE, Michigan Hispanic Collaborative and countless artists, including Detroit’s Sheefy McFly and Dillan Steele. Her ability to curate meaningful atmospheres and manage diverse stakeholders makes her an ideal lead for your next experience.
