Chef Mary Stallworth, founder of Geisha Girls Hospitality, a Detroit born culinary brand that reimagines sushi through the lens of soul food, comfort, culture and community. Built around a simple belief: elevated food should be accessible without ever being watered down.

That philosophy has taken Geisha Girls from a 3 year brick & mortar restaurant on Detroit’s riverfront to pop ups, private experiences, national cannabis events, classes via Cozymeal & Classpop, & expansion opportunities beyond Michigan.

Now joining Prime + Proper as Sous Chef & serving as the new Culinary Curator for The Deep End Cafe & Gallery, Mary is entering a chapter focused on bold culinary programming, grab & go concepts & experiences that continue to grow Geisha Girls impact while staying rooted in Detroit.
