What is the cost of renting the space?
The cost to rent TDE Cafe & Gallery - at 6307 Michigan Ave., Detroit - can range from free to $1,000 per hour. Our model for rentals is on a sliding scale that considers the kind of collaboration and the budget/resources available. Submit the form and tell us key info regarding your event. Be honest about your budget and resources so that we can determine how to best support you. If you do have the budget and resources, we hope you know the incredible value that your payment for our services brings to our creative economy. You’re not just paying for a service, you are helping us sustain our very important mission to empower artists and curators by providing accessible space, mentorship, and opportunities for growth.

Do we get access to the space before and after the event time to set up and clean up?
Yes, you may get access to the venue at least 2 hours before and after the event. If we are able to offer you more time, we will do our best to work that out.
